This office building in Encinitas, California recently enhanced its exterior with Color-Lok Semi-Transparent, covering its wood paneling to ensure long-lasting vibrancy and protection. The newly constructed building needed a reliable solution to maintain the look of its materials, and Color-Lok proved to be the perfect choice. This modified acrylic stain is fortified with siloxane, providing superior protection and color retention for any surface that can accept normal latex coatings.
Having chosen Semi-Transparent Color-Lok, it allows the natural wood grains to show through accentuating the wood texture, but also offers a flat sheen level, ensuring a high-quality, even color finish. This makes it ideal for exterior applications where both aesthetics and durability are important. By choosing Color-Lok, the building's natural wood tones will remain vibrant for years, despite exposure to the elements.
In addition to its visual benefits, the stain’s advanced formula helps guard against weathering, UV damage, and water damage, which can degrade wood over time. This ensures that the office building’s exterior not only looks great but also stands up to the harsh coastal climate of Encinitas
