Blok-Lok: Yuba City Sewer Treatment Plant

The Yuba City Wastewater Treatment Facility, originally built in 1975 and expanded in 2003, treats an average of 6.5 million gallons of wastewater per day. To protect the facility’s split-faced block structures from water damage and environmental wear, contractor Redwood Painting applied RainguardPro’s Blok-Lok Siloxane Water Repellent.

Blok-Lok is a water-based siloxane water repellent with MICRO-LOK™ technology, designed to provide heavy-duty, long-lasting protection for masonry surfaces. It absorbs deeply into porous materials, such as concrete, brick, and stucco, forming a micro-molecular bond that creates an invisible, breathable barrier. This barrier prevents water absorption, mold, mildew, and efflorescence while also protecting against freeze-thaw cycles, and chloride ion intrusion.
